Glenco® Laboratory Syringes

Spectrum manufactures 3 different syringe lines, these are the Double Action Syringes, the Micro Syringes, and the Gas/Liquid Syringes.

The Double-Action syringes are specialty micro syringes. They are available in volumes ranging from 1 µl to 50 µl with a variety of different needle options. These syringes are used principally for hplc and gc sample handling and injection. Their unique two body design make them exceptionally easy to use these syringes with valves and injectors. The two body design also thermally isolates the sample from your hand.
These are also known as the Glenco 19909 and 19913 series syringes.

The micro syringes are general purpose micro laboratory syringes. They are available in volumes ranging from 10 µl to 50 µl with a variety of different needle options. They have hand-lapped tungsten plungers, enabling them to remain free of leaks at even extreme temperatures. These syringes are generally used for measuring and dispensing small volumes of liquids.
These are also known as the Glenco 19901 and 19905 series syringes.

The Gas/Liquid syringes are general purpose macro laboratory syringes. They are available in volumes ranging from 50 µl to 100 ml with a variety of different needle options. The Gas/Liquid syringes are used for dispensing and measuring both liquids and gases. These syringes are leak-free to in excess of 30 psi. (Observe caution when working with pressurized samples, the plunger may be ejected creating a hazard.) In addition, a variety of accessories (valves, tubing connectors, etc.) are available for use with these syringes.
These are also known as the Glenco 19925 and 19930 series syringes.

Additionally, special syringes for sample injection are available. These syringes are specially calibrated for use with hplc injection valves to give accurate injection volumes for partial loop fills.
