Gas/Liquid Syringe Replacement Parts

Replacement glass barrels and plungers are available for all of our gas/liquid syringes. Needles are available for the removable needle syringes, they are listed here.

Replacement Plungers
There are 2 different styles of plungers for the gas/liquid syringes, an adjustable seal tension plunger and a fixed seal tension plunger. The plungers are interchangeable within a given nominal size (i.e. any 5 ml plunger will fit any 5 ml barrel). The fixed seal tension plunger is suitable for most applications. The adjustable seal tension plungers are generally used either where you would want to tighten the tension to keep the plunger from moving or you would like to completely release the tension to free the plunger.

Replacement Glass Barrels
There are 2 different styles of barrels for the gas/liquid syringes, one with a fixed (cemented in place) needle and another for removable needles. The glass barrels are interchangeable within a given nominal size (i.e. any 5 ml barrel will accommodate any 5 ml plunger). The fixed needle barrels include the indicated needle cemented in place. The removable needle barrels do not include a needle or the screw hub nut. If these are required they must be ordered separately.
