Gas/Liquid Syringe Closure

The syringe closure is a useful accessory when you will be storing material in a gas/liquid syringe. It is a cap which screws onto the syringe in place of the needle.

When storing liquid samples, either a valve can be used between the syringe and the needle or, after the sample is in the syringe, a closure can be screwed onto the syringe in place of the needle. Even if a valve is used, a closure will frequently be used with the valve to prevent accidental discharge or contamination of the sample.
